The Man Behind The Music
continued from page 1

Now in the dawning days of a new millennium, Bill has constructed a new studio and writing team, near Branson Missouri. A cadre of writers and performers that Bill plans on leading upon a World Tour with the release of his latest CD, a compilation of well known hits as well as songs never before released. This effort is sure to become a sensation and a crowning jewel in Bill’s outstanding career.

But Bills story is far from finished, having recently released a new album, Saturday Night At The Movies, his CD is starting to gain critical acclaim. The best phrase to sum up this new work is, "GET READY FOR SOME REAL ROCK AND ROLL." Audiences, fans, as well as writers within the music industry have said that SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES is not just another remake of the music of the era when Rock was young and innocent, it is not another imitator trying to capture the sound of the legendary greats, it is indeed the real thing. After reviewing SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES, BRIAN AHERN a writer `for Country Music and More magazine, http://www.countrymusicandmore.co.uk, was commenting on "Oh Pretty Woman" and said, "(it) forces me to ask where has this talented guy been for all these years…..….outstanding quality from a guy with a remarkable voice for his senior age." Listen to a recording from the past and compare it to his current CD and you will agree that Bill's voice is as good now, if not better than it was a lifetime ago, like a Stradivarius violin or a fine wine it just grows sweeter with age.
The cover photo for Bill's new CD was taken at the historic Princess Theater in Aurora Missouri.

David Pilot, of Rockzilla World, (http://www.rockzilla.net/) gave the CD rave reviews and `wrote, "Dees showcases here a voice big enough and yearning enough to have given Orbison a run for his money. The mastery of phrasing and complete control of timbre, volume, and focus is dead equal with that of the more famous artist in this discussion."

The tracks on the CD, which include the following titles, Ride Away; Borne On The Wind; Sleepy Hollow; Windsurfer; Goodnight; Saturday Night At The Movies; Crawl Back; Just Another Word For Rock And Roll; It's Over; Oh, Pretty Woman, and So This Is Love, are all tunes emblematic of the classic sounds of the fifties and sixties and a delight to anyone who appreciates the roots of rock.

Bill Dees, the consummate performer.

So take this opportunity and check out Bill's web site, www.billdees.com to learn more about Bill and his latest CD. And after listening to this man and his work, I am sure that you too will realize that Bill is one of the bright and shining gems of the Ozarks.
