Holiday Snowball Cookies

This Holiday Snowball Cookie will melt in your mouth.

ESTIMATED TIMES:

Preparation - 10 min | Cooking - 12 min | Cooling Time - 10 min cooling | Yields - 4 dozen cookies

INGREDIENTS:
· 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
· 3/4 cup powdered sugar
· 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 3 cups all-purpose flour
· 1 3/4 cups (10-oz. pkg.) Holiday Shapes & Morsels I use NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE
· 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
· 1 sprinkle powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS:

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

BEAT butter, sugar, vanilla extract and salt in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour; stir in Shapes & Morsels and nuts. Shape level tablespoons of dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned. Remove from oven. Sift powdered sugar over hot cookies on baking sheets. Cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar, if desired. Store in airtight containers.


Festive Eggnog Cake

You will have fond memories during your holiday get-togethers when your family and friends taste this delicious cake. Yields - 12 servings

Ingredients:
· 1 Recipe Cake
· 4 large eggs
· 1 pkg. (18.25 oz.) French vanilla or yellow cake mix
· 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) French vanilla or vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
· 1/2 cup water
· 1/3 cup vegetable oil
· 2 teaspoons rum extract
· 1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
· 1 3/4 cups (10 oz.) Holiday Shapes & Morsels, divided I use NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE

Recipe; Frosting
· 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
· 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
· 2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

DIRECTIONS FOR CAKE:

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

BEAT eggs in large mixer bowl for 1 minute or until frothy. Add cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, rum extract and nutmeg. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup of Shapes & Morsels. Spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup Shapes & Morsels over batter.

BAKE for 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Spread frosting over cake. Sprinkle with remaining Shapes & Morsels.

FOR FROSTING:
BEAT cream cheese and butter in small mixer bowl until smooth. Gradually beat in powdered sugar and nutmeg until smooth.
